Details:

Breck Farm is situated in the North Norfolk Countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is conveniently located between the villages of Weybourne and Bodham. It is 3 Miles from the towns of Sheringham and Holt.

We are a working farm producing mainly free-range eggs, barley, potatoes and sugar beet.

The farm is surrounded by woodland and we have plenty of space for our visitors. Children and pets are always welcome. We aim to run a caravan site which is quiet, spacious and basic, ideal for families and independent travellers, offering a welcome change from busy, noisy, larger sites.

We have been running this site for 50 years and believe in having a quiet family friendly site. We pride ourselves on the fact that some of our customers have been coming back here for 25 years!

We have 6 acres of grass for camping and caravanners and a further 4 acres that can be opened up in busy periods, so we are rarely fully booked. Our campers are never cramped and there is always plenty of room for a game of cricket!

Dogs are welcomed but must be kept on a lead because we may have hens roaming around the site.

Our facilities offer everything you need when camping and are always kept to the highest standard. These include toilets, showers, a washing up area and chemical toilet disposal. We are currently building a new 34 unit shower and toilet block which we hope will be open by autumn 2008.

We also have electric hook ups, and a fenced off play area

Campfires-Allowed.co.uk Review

10/07/2010

We decided to spend a long weekend at Breck Farm (Friday to Monday) as it is close to the sea and of course allows campfires (the propper kind on the ground).

The site is pretty huge and flat, surrounded by woods on three sides.  The family that own the farm are very friendly and can provide you with free range eggs, 'pink' potatoes, and firewood.

I had read many comments that the toilet & shower facility was pretty poor, so I am guessing that since these reviews Breck Farm decided to build a new shower / toilet block.  It is HUGE and well kitted out in terms of numbers of toilets & showers.  the block also has washing up facilities and three freezers for your ice packs.

As we got to the campsite on the Friday, there were only a handful of people there, but boy did it get busy!  Pretty much the entire campsite filled out by the Saturday evening, which is great really.

Everyone that we met was pretty friendly, especially our neighbours Neill, Johnny et al, with whom we spent a great evening around their campfire sampling their campfire cooking!
